Iomega Launches Managed Security Service for Small and Medium Businesses in the United Kingdom

Iomega Corporation (NYSE: IOM), a global leader in data protection and security, today announced the European launch of its OfficeScreen® managed security service products. In expanding its OfficeScreen business beyond the U.S., Iomega’s award-winning network security service for small and mid-sized business networks is now available in United Kingdom.

OfficeScreen is a simple and straightforward managed services offering for broadband service providers and channel partners that sell products and services directly to SMBs. OfficeScreen provides enterprise quality perimeter security and secure remote access for SMB networks, helping to protect small businesses from data theft and liability.

OfficeScreen’s firewall/VPN, Secure Socket Layer (SSL) and IPSec (IP security) bundles create the secure wide area networks that connect remote offices and workers to applications and data at a company’s headquarters, while countering security threats from hackers, worms and viruses across a company’s entire network. OfficeScreen Firewall and IPSec VPN service, including anti-virus and web-filtering, is now available in the UK. Iomega plans to offer other OfficeScreen products in the UK in the future.
