Rohde & Schwarz enhances New Zealand operations with opening of Auckland office

After more than 35 years of trusted partnership with Nichecom, Rohde & Schwarz has established a full-time footprint in New Zealand with the opening of a new sales office in Auckland on 15th November.

Rohde & Schwarz long-standing partner, Nichecom, based in Wellington, has been a cornerstone of New Zealand’s test and measurement industry since 1987. With an ISO-registered laboratory, Nichecom has delivered exceptional sales, service, calibration, and systems integration for leading brands, including Rohde & Schwarz. Nichecom will continue to play a key role in supporting our customers during and beyond this transition which began in September this year.

Managing Director Rohde & Schwarz Australia Gareth Evans thanked Nichecom for their valued support over the years and said the establishment of an Auckland branch is the first step in a continuum of investment planned to meet the needs of the New Zealand market.

“Having a permanent Rohde & Schwarz presence on the ground in New Zealand will only further enhance our ability to fully cater to our local customers’ needs and I look forward to building this presence and support in the years to come,” he added.

As part of this exciting development, Rohde & Schwarz Australia is pleased to introduce Filip Zganec, the new Technical Sales Manager based in Auckland. Filip Zganec brings deep expertise in RF and low-frequency test systems, along with a strong track record of understanding customer needs and designing tailored test solutions. He will lead the delivery of Rohde & Schwarz solutions across New Zealand, ensuring continuity and excellence in service.
