CGI Releases Version 4.07 Spec.Check Inspection Software

Eden Prairie, Minn. – Crump Group Incorporated (CGI), www.CGIinspection.com, an innovator in the world of 3D inspection equipment, announced the release of version 4.07 of their proprietary Spec.Check inspection software.

Spec.Check uses standard ASCII point cloud data to register a part in 3-D space which enables rapid measurement and reporting of any external or internal dimension, slope, angle or radius. Time for first article inspections and tooling qualifications is significantly reduced through Spec.Check’s ease of use and template functions.

According to Craig Crump, CEO and President, “With the addition of selected GD&T functions and improvements to existing Spec.Check features, version 4.07 provides even more value to our customers. Whether as a stand-alone product or in combination with one of our Cross Sectional Scanning Systems, we believe version 4.07 once again demonstrates CGI’s market leadership in the capture of complex internal and external geometry”.

CGI’s customers include: Tyco Electronics, Delphi-Packard, Hunter Industries, General Electric and Siemens. CGI specializes in 3D inspection systems, software and services for first article inspections, failure analysis, reverse engineering and tooling qualification. With over 10 years of comprehensive experience manufacturing inspection systems, CGI has been involved with industrial metrology in variety of industries, including: automotive, aerospace, injection molding, medical and electronics.
