Compass Electronics Solutions Wins MN Governor’s Safety Award for Third Consecutive Year

Compass Electronics Solutions is proud to announce that our Minnesota facility has won a 2021 Governor’s Safety Award! We will be honored at the 2021 Virtual Minnesota Safety & Health Conference, May 4-5th, for our excellence in workplace safety and health. Of the 2021 award winners, Compass Electronics Solutions ranked among only 52 companies who received the highest Governor’s Award of Honor.
 
At Compass Electronics Solutions, our dedication to employees and customers serves as the basis of our safety and quality processes. We deliver reliable services by ensuring that our employees are supported with the safety and quality tools necessary to ensure success. Our diligent team and comprehensive processes have helped us win the Governor’s Safety Award for three years running! As recipients of the Award of Honor, Compass Electronics Solutions placed in the top 10% of our industry.
 
Applicants are judged on several years of injury data as it compares with their industry’s national statistics, and on their progress in implementing a comprehensive safety program. Winners are recognized at three levels:

• Meritorious Achievement (63 winners): Incidence rates that are better than the industry average for at least three years, and a score between 50 and 74 on a 100-point safety program evaluation scale.
• Outstanding Achievement (106 winners): Continuing improvement and/or a continuing outstanding record with incident rates that are 51%-90% better than the industry average, and a score between 75 and 90 on the safety program evaluation scale.
• Award of Honor (52 winners): Incidence rates at least 91% better than the industry average, and a score between 91 and 100 on the safety program evaluation scale.
