Beacon EmbeddedWorks, a New Brand in Embedded Electronics Launched

Compass Electronics Solutions announces the launch of their new embedded technology brand, Beacon EmbeddedWorks.  Building on more than 20 years of award-winning SOM development and support as Logic PD (now part of Compass Electronics Solutions), Beacon EmbeddedWorks was created to deliver the next generation of powerful, secure and customized system on modules. In addition to its system on modules, Beacon EmbeddedWorks offers US-based, in-house support, a full suite of security optimization, and comprehensive support.

The first products introduced by Beacon EmbeddedWorks are two new SOMs designed to accommodate the increasingly complex requirements of connected electronic devices. Based around the small form factor NXP i.MX 8M Mini/Nano processors and the Renesas RZ/G2 processor, these new SOMs boast fast-boot times, multiple wireless connectivity modules, and unrivaled security.
