4B Festival Announces Musical Line Up

NEW HAVEN, Conn. –  The 4B Festival, incubated by Digital Surgeons Labs, today announced four area bands signed on to perform live at the upcoming event in New Haven on March 22.  As the area’s first of its kind festival of specially curated beer, bourbon, barbecue and bacon, the 4B Festival is set to deliver a full sensory overload now with incredible music. 
As if the array of mouthwatering offerings isn’t enough, festival organizers have brought together regional bands to entertain guests with a diverse musical experience -- spanning traditional roots music to Chicago-style blues to classic Americana. The line up includes:
Shawn Taylor: With a thumping thumb, dancing fingers, deep gritty soul stirring vocals & poetic blue-collar lyrics, Taylor’s songs ooze American roots.
Spuyten Duyvil: Hailing from the Hudson Valley, Spuyten Duyvil’s soaring vocals, traditional jug-band energy, slide guitar and Chicago-style blues harp propel the listener on a barn-burning romp through the last 100 years of American Roots music.
The Alpaca Gnomes: Represent artists from Bridgeport and New Haven, and recently completed a self-titled debut album.
Roosevelt Dime: Inspired by Appalachian string bands, Memphis soul, New Orleans Dixieland, and the musical melting pot of Brooklyn which they call home, the band has forged a sound they’ve come to call Steamboat Soul.

Shawn Taylor and Spuyten Duyvil will play the early session of this two-part festival. The evening brings to the stage the Alpaca Gnomes and Roosevelt Dime. There are also murmurs of a special musical guest to open the festival that you have to attend the Festival to experience.

From microbrews to pork belly, the 4B Festival will bring together great music and national and local purveyors all in one place to offer the most delicious and creative samplings to “4B” aficionados -- from food samplings from pit masters, chefs and restaurants to bacon-infused treats to tastings at beer and bourbon stations with a souvenir shot glass.
The 4B Festival will be one of the largest indoor events in the state held at the old Trolley Barn, which offers an immense tunnel-like hall featuring 30-foot high ceilings and over 20,000 square feet of common space, hosting upwards of 4,000 guests.

To make it easy for 4B connoisseurs from around the tri-state to get to the festival, free shuttle buses will be running to and from the Union Street Metro North Train Station to the event. Three designated parking areas will also be available.
