The Corner Office Restaurant + Martini Bar Kicks off Holiday Season

Christmas and New Years Parties and Theater Dining Series Round-out December

WEBWIRE

Denver, Colo. – Don’t let the mall madness, holiday traffic and the Mayan end-of-world predictions get you down: The Corner Office Restaurant + Martini Bar has several fun-fueled events planned for December that are assured to bring diners and revelers to 14th street in downtown Denver. Specifically, The Corner Office will once again host its annual “You Lucky Duck” Christmas meal, as well as throw the second annual Roaring 20’s party for New Years Eve. In addition to those events, throughout most of December The Corner Office is also serving its popular three-course dining menu inspired by the White Christmas show, taking place at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts (DCPA).

The Corner Office is known for its sophisticated vibe, excellent cocktails and exquisite global cuisine, prepared by the eatery’s new Executive Chef Rich Byers. However, many Denverites don’t realize the number of fabulous holiday events that take place at The Corner Office, including that it’s open on Christmas Day for those that would rather nix the dishes at home.

In addition to The Corner Office’s limited menu, You Lucky Duck is the annual Peking duck-fest that The Corner Office playfully serves each Christmas Eve and Day for those that would rather spend the holidays being with family and friends than slaving away in the kitchen. Inspired by the classic holiday movie, “A Christmas Story,” the You Lucky Duck menu will be available from 11:00 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Christmas Eve and from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Christmas Day. The specials include Peking style duck steamed buns with snow pea slaw and hoisin, duck drumsticks and duck fried rice.

Only a week later, The Corner Office will host an exclusive party for New Years Eve: the second annual Roaring ‘20s New Years Eve.  As a sellout event last year, it is sure to sellout once again.  Just $30 gets you admittance into this intoxicating party with a champagne toast at midnight, and live pulsing beats from The Hot Club on Pearl St. Band.  Live music and party festivities begin at 9pm and last until 2am.  Tickets available at thecornerofficedenver.com/events.

You can begin your NYE festivities at The Corner Office by dining with us in our dining room.  Executive Chef Rich Byers will take your senses straight to the early 1900s with specials such as, a rack of lamb, Tuscan ribbiolita soup, and striped bass en papillote.  Dinner served from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.  Reservations highly recommend.  Gangster tuxedos and frisky flapper dresses highly encouraged.

Finally, through Christmas Eve, The Corner Office will be presenting its three-course theater dining series in conjunction with the DCPA, inspired by Irving Berlin’s musical White Christmas. For $52.80, two theatergoers can select appetizers, entrées and desserts from a holiday-designed menu that includes such wintertime favorites as French onion soup, cassoulet and German chocolate cake. In addition to the close proximity The Corner Office has to the DCPA, theater goers can partake in a delectable meal and near-by low-cost parking as part of this dining series. And after the show, theater patrons are encouraged to stop by for a hand-shaken martini to cap off the night.

“Downtown Denver has so much to offer during the holiday season from horse-drawn carriage rides, to holiday lights, to theater and ballet, to fireworks for New Years,” said The Corner Office’s general manager, Jerome Fosset. “The Corner Office is proud to offer a variety of culinary and cocktail delights that compliment all that Denver has to offer. Our sophisticated, playful and delicious food will ensure you will be smiling and laughing all season long. Each of these holiday events we’re hosting this year has proven to be popular among Denver’s revelers and we hope that even more people will find a reason to come downtown this December.”
