QUALCOMM and Longcheer Technology Sign WCDMA Modem Card License Agreement

SAN DIEGO — June 21, 2006 — QUALCOMM Incorporated (Nasdaq: QCOM), a leading developer and innovator of CDMA2000®, WCDMA and other advanced wireless technologies, and Longcheer Technology (BVI) Limited, a leading Chinese mobile handset designer and wholly owned subsidiary of Longcheer Holdings Limited, today announced that the companies have entered into a commercial WCDMA modem card license agreement. Under the terms of the royalty-bearing agreement, QUALCOMM has granted Longcheer a worldwide license under its CDMA patent portfolio to develop, manufacture and sell 3G WCDMA modem cards. The royalties payable by Longcheer are at QUALCOMM’s standard worldwide rates.
