Movea Appoints Anne Gabrot as CFO

Grenoble, France, July 27, 2011 – Movea, the pioneer in motion-sensing and motion processing technology solutions, today announced that Anne Gabrot has joined the company as Chief Financial Officer. With her extensive experience in finance, technology licensing and fundraising, Gabrot will play a critical role in helping to take Movea to the next level.

Formerly CFO of Volubill, a successful Grenoble based telecom company, Gabrot brings more than 20 years of experience in finance and administration to Movea. While at Volubill, Gabrot was instrumental in growing the start up company of just 7 employees to an international company of 170, with subsidiaries in USA, Denmark, Malaysia, and UK. She also managed technology licensing and contracts for large B2B customers, raised two rounds of funding from international VC investors totaling €25M, and helped drive the company’s M&A strategy.

Prior to Volubill, Gabrot was Finance Director of EHPT EMEA, a joint venture company between HP and Ericsson. She also worked for 6 years with the Benetton Group, launching the sporting goods subsidiary in France.

Gabrot holds a Master’s of Business Administration from the Essec Business School in Paris, specializing in finance and law.
