CEO of company strips down and walks from Maine to California tobring awareness to people helping people and charities.

Chicago native will walk from Maine to California to promote “People Helping People” and to raise money for several Charities


On July 1st 2009 I will embark on a 3,277 mile journey on foot across America to bring awareness to many charitable organizations(listed below)that help others in our difficult financial times, organizations that support wellness causes and a new online community that allows “people to help people” earn income. Beginning in Van Buren, Maine and ending in Los Angeles, CA., my journey will symbolize what America was built upon, hard work, dedication and “People Helping People.” I believe if we shift our focus and look at what needs to be done rather than what has been done, we can help each other get back on track. I challenge America to help one another, sometimes we need to come together, roll up our sleeves and do what it takes, this is one of those times and I a committed to spreading this message. I need your help!

With millions of Americans out of work, in need of income and watching their dollars, my goal is to raise money and bring awareness to the charitable organizations that are committed to helping. I am walking the country to show my dedication with the hopes that others will help as well in their own way and do what they can. I have also created an online community that helps those out of work find work, helps consumers of services save money by using a bid system that makes pricing for any service affordable for all. This community is a way for people to help people. With many people living in tent cities and with millions that can’t find work, this is an outlet for all to find work and earn money. I will be spreading the word of the community as well. I believe we can help one another; we just have to want it. Do you want it?

Along the way, I will help the many charitable organizations that I personally support by using the online community (freemytimenow.com) to find work in each town I visit, and have my earnings donated in the name of the person(s) or business that hires me to a charity of their choice. I will also solicit media attention in each town to heighten the awareness of these organizations dedicated to helping. I am up for the challenge to help my fellow man. We all need to support each other in these difficult times.

I will be traveling light, but will be using Twitter, Youtube and FaceBook to post my progress and details of my trek and experiences. I will also be able to be tracked by an online real time GPS tracking system.

My crusade is to help and promote that people can help people. Yes we can help one another, what does it take? We have to want to see our fellow man come out of this storm, no matter what the circumstances were that got him caught in the storm! We have to want to help!

The online community www.freemytimenow.com has been developed so that users looking for work and extra income can bid on jobs, chores and services posted by others looking to save money and are in need of any job, chore or service performed. This is a great outlet for people to connect and help each other.

P.S. I will be looking for work along the way. I am a trained chef, trained restaurant consultant. I am also an A+ certified computer repair tech. I am a musician, I play guitar, bass, drums, percussion, keyboards, piano, harmonica and trumpet. I can also teach self defense and martial arts. I can DJ; I can do general labor and any household chores. I am fluent in all of the talents and skills listed and up for the challenge. I need to help raise money and will do any work needed. I am rolling up my sleeves, I’m here to help and make a difference! Will you do the same America?
