Two Cool and Stylish Bluetooth Enabled Handsets Unveiled at 3GSM 2006

Barcelona, Spain – 3GSM World Congress - 13 February 2006 – Motorola, Inc. (NYSE: MOT) today introduced two new handsets designed to expand Bluetooth functionality to business focused mobile phone users. The ultra thin Motorola L2 and ultra sleek V195 handsets demonstrate Motorola’s leadership in developing innovative Bluetooth handsets, which provide the best of the basics coupled with Bluetooth functionality that consumers increasingly demand.

Motorola’s L2 embodies a balance between personal and business communications at an economical price. Taking it’s design cue from the must-have SLVR L7, as one of the thinnest candy bar designed handsets offering Bluetooth, the L2 provides Class 2 Bluetooth wireless communications along with hands free speakerphone, scratch resistant display and 10 MB of user memory space. This versatile handset provides up to 350 minutes of talk time and 345 hours of stand-by time.

For those who prefer the clam form factor, then the stunning V195 will be one of the most affordable Bluetooth clamshell handset on the market. The unit also features Bluetooth Class 1 enabling users to easily talk and transfer information wirelessly. The handsets provide loud and clear audio and large, easy-to-read key pad. The V195 also has an attractive high quality finish and large colour display and boasts among the best talk and standby times available on the market today - up to 624 minutes and 525 hours respectively,

“Motorola is the global leader in delivering Bluetooth accessories for the cellular market therefore it is natural for us to drive the capability across all tiers of our broad handset portfolio.” said Steve Lalla, Vice President and General Manager, Mass Market Products, Motorola Mobile Devices. “The SLVR L2 and V195 are perfect products for enterprise consumers who want the convenience of Bluetooth, a great feature set, and outstanding design at an affordable price.”

The Motorola L2 and V195 are accompanied by a suite of bluetooth enabled accessories to ensure consumers receive maximum benefit and experience wherever they are. Products include the H605, H300 and H350 bluetooth headsets, the HF820 and HF850 Bluetooth car kits and the recently announced Motorola TXTR D7.

Motorola’s L2 will be available today from Q1 2006 whilst the Motorola V195 will be available from Q2 2006.
