Edentity and JWT/rmg celebrate a successful revamp of the ParticipACTION website using the Agility Content Management System.

Toronto (ONTARIO) April 06,2009 – Edentity Web Systems Inc. is proud to announce its role in revamping the ParticipACTION.com website, using the Agility Content Management System platform. JWT/rmg, the digital agency for the project, provided Edentity with the designs, information architecture and other materials to build a robust and engaging site on the Agility CMS.The site went live in November, 2008, and is proving to be a successful communications vehicle for ParticipACTION, the national voice of physical activity and sport participation in Canada.

The next-generation site includes user-generated images and videos, comments and ratings, page and shared content management in multiple languages.

“We are very pleased to welcome a site that promotes such an important cause into the Agility family,” says Jon Voigt, CTO of Edentity. “The site demonstrates some of the more advanced capabilities of Agility, such as handling user-generated video and integrating dynamic Agility content with Flash.”

“Edentity was able to implement the site on the Agility CMS under a very tight timeline. We are especially pleased with the integration of the Agility site and content with the Flash-based ‘Stories’ functionality,” says Artin Youssefian, Digital Strategy Director at JWT/rmg.

Since the website’s launch, almost 2000 Canadians have submitted their own stories about how moving more has made a difference in their lives. An online Wall of Inspiration displays all the stories, including a variety of text, photographs and video.
