International Search Summit to Include Speakers from Eniro, Yandex and Microsoft adCenter

The International Search Summit is to be held in London in November will bring together some of the leading authorities on search from around the world including Scandinavian search engine Eniro, Yandex and Microsoft adCenter. Hosted by leading UK multilingual search agency, WebCertain, the event is the second of its kind and will again focus specifically on international and multilingual search marketing.

Held at the British Library, London, the International Search Summit will draw on worldwide experts to address the issues facing online marketers when dealing with content that crosses multiple countries, cultures and languages.

Christer Pettersson from Eniro, the leading search company in the Nordic media market, will speak on the subject of ‘Search in Scandinavia’; he will consider how it differs from other markets and what the future holds for local engines competing with Google. As Online Manager for Search at Eniro, Christer is responsible for the business and product development of Eniro’s search services, including SEM and SEO.

Other speakers who will appear at the summit include Eugene Lomize, Head of Advertising Technology at Russian search engine Yandex, who will provide an insight into ‘Paid Search in Russia’; and Ed Pushman, Search Media Strategist for Microsoft adCenter who will look at ‘Microsoft AdCenter: Now and the Future’.

In addition, the summit will also include Alex Burmaster of Nielsen Online on ‘The European Paid Search Landscape’ and there will be sessions led by Markus Zimmer of Divolution; Shari Thurow of Omni Marketing Interactive; and Anne Kennedy of Beyond Ink.
