Dubai Health Authority and Philips announce strategic partnership

Dubai, UAE – The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and Royal Philips Electronics (NYSE: PHG, AEX: PHI) have sealed a strategic partnership and signed a Memorandum of Understanding making Philips the preferred partner for future DHA projects aimed at elevating the level of healthcare services in the Gulf region. The first of these projects is expected to be announced within the next two months.

Through the partnership, Philips has become the DHA’s preferred partner and supplier of healthcare, lighting, consumer products and services. The agreement includes the possibility of further deployment of Philips products and services, and provides a joint framework for developing and pursuing future opportunities. These include offering further competitive solutions, participating in large healthcare projects and offering new services and business models that deliver the highest level of quality and are designed around the needs of the patient.”
