Orange County Web Design Firm topLingo Auctions Off Christmas on eBay for Charity

eBay features plenty of strange items - and now business owners can buy a piece of Christmas!

Orange County Web Design Company topLingo (formerly Slingshot Development) is celebrating the holiday season by auctioning off unique items on eBay, with proceeds going to charity. topLingo’s eBay auction items range from thousands of dollars worth of their Orange County web design and hosting services to employees’ gifts and 4 hours of each of the company principal’s time for toilet scrubbing.

1. topLingo’s Office-Inappropriate Holiday Card. topLingo’s holiday cards have become collector’s items, but this year’s original was a little too edgy for general release. Clients will receive the lite version, and a limited number of the original explicit holiday cards will be available on eBay.

2. topLingo’s employee Christmas gifts. Employees can bid on each other’s gifts, for a twist on the traditional office gift exchange.

3. Toilet scrubbing services by topLingo’s two principals, Mike Glezos and Jason Berry. Four hours of their time for your dirtiest housework will be auctioned off to the highest bidders.

4. High-speed web-hosting services worth $4,000 to be credited to the web hosting accounts of clients with winning bids.

5. Two custom-designed business websites worth $3,000 each. Includes features such as an SQL database driven contact form, Flash animation, and free web hosting for one year.

The topLingo eBay Christmas auction will culminate in a no-holds-barred holiday party on December 16 at the Irvine Orange County Airport Hilton. Says Mike Glezos, one of topLingo’s CEOs whose time is being auctioned off for toilet scrubbing, “Our Christmas party will continue the strange-things-you-can-buy-on-eBay theme with a mechanical bull and a misbehaving Santa Claus who will most likely be kicked out. And we’ll pay cash for anyone who gets a henna tattoo of the company logo. The holiday theme is a great way for us to humble ourselves in the holiday spirit and let our employees and clients have some fun, too.”

All proceeds of the Christmas eBay auction will go to the Make-A-Wish Foundation and Los Angelitos children’s orphanage.
