New Audio Converter from Gefen Offers Expanded Functionality and Format Support

Las Vegas, NV, Booth SL 2312 -- A new addition to Gefen’s selection of audio format converters supports Dolby and DTS audio formats. The Gefen Dolby/DTS Digital to Analog Audio Converter comes in a small enclosure designed for easy installation and operation. The plug and play solution enables a direct connection between digital audio sources, now supporting Dolby and DTS-HD Master Audio, and analog left/right RCA audio devices.

The integrated digital interpolator filter and digital to analog converter ensure a high quality audio transition that loses no quality during the conversion process. The unit accepts digital audio in TOSlink and S/PDIF formats, delivering analog left/right channels on the output. Uncompressed digital audio signals, including 24-bit S/PDIF bitstream channels, deliver two-channel audio outputs, powered by an external power supply that drives performance.
