Synergy Summits for Platinum One Destinations Launch March 29, 2008

Synergy Marketing Group’s (SMG) National Events Coordinator Rosalind Venter announced today that the first Synergy Summits for Platinum One Destinations (P1D) Associates and guests will take place March 29th in 3 simultaneous locations; Phoenix, Ft. Lauderdale and Chicago. Each Summit will include a business overview for guests, a start up training for new Associates, an advanced training, and a social event to encourage mingling between new members and top P1D leaders.

“Synergy Summits are the offline extension of both the Marketing System-- designed to introduce P1D to prospects-- and the Training and Support Systems—designed to instruct and motivate P1D Associates in business development,” said Venter. “Leaders will be on hand to assist P1D Associates in closing sales, and model the P1D business opportunity and culture of the SMG.”

P1D is the Network Marketing Division of travel company NetTrav Inc. Launched in December 2007, Platinum One Destinations joined in partnership with SMG as their exclusive Sales and Marketing Team. Synergy Marketing Group, formerly CSG was founded in 2002 by Nitsa Nakos, Priska King and Bob Biss, who now act as Executive Management for SMG overseeing the systems, training and support for P1D Associates.

The benefits of live events for Network Marketer are twofold; Synergy Summits are designed to assist P1D Associates in closing sales, and provide in depth business training for both new and more seasoned marketers. For marketers trying to connect with prospects, live events give them a face-to-face encounter with the team and culture and Venter noted there is a sustained moment of openness through this personalized experience.

Feedback surveys from past CSG events indicate that prospects who attend Synergy’s morning business presentations have a conversion rate of close to 50%.

A key component to Synergy Summits is the incorporation of a secure registration system for prospects and guests. P1D Associates can register their prospects for any of the three events, whether the Associates themselves are in attendance or not, and the computer system will tie each guest to that member should they choose to join P1D after the Summit.

In addition to using Summits as a powerful prospecting tool, Associates at the Summits will benefit from comprehensive trainings. Speakers and trainers will coach attendees on topics ranging from Guerrilla Marketing, to time management and the psychology of prospecting.
“Prospects from across the nation can attend the Summit closest to them for the business overview. Associates can do the same for the trainings, and at the end of the day sales are closed, business relationships are formed and P1D Associates go home with vastly increased knowledge on business building,” said Venter.

Three Synergy Certified Instructors and Executive Leaders have been appointed as Synergy Summit Regional Event Managers. Kristi Engle will oversee the Western Region, Brett Waddell the Central Region and Wesley Pennington the Eastern Region. Venter explained that the Regional Directors were chosen based on their experience as leaders and trainers and, the Synergy Summits are set to expand over the next year with additional regions being added in order to ensure every P1D Associate and prospect has a monthly Summit within driving distances.

Maria Papathanasiou came on board with the Synergy Administration team in 2007 to oversee the development of Synergy Summits alongside Venter. Papathanasiou has an extensive history in both the travel and event planning industries and was formerly The CSG Travel Club Coordinator.
