Fujifilm Announces Upgraded Wide Format Inkjet Solution for Frontier Systems

Epson/Fujifilm 7880 Prints Poster-Sized Images On-Demand, in Minutes, Hours or Days

Valhalla, NY, January 24, 2008— FUJIFILM U.S.A., Inc. today announced its Expanding Frontier Solutions with the addition of the Epson/Fujifilm Stylus Pro 7880 wide format inkjet printer. The printer can be integrated with the Frontier Photo Image Controller (PIC) with the new Frontier Workflow Management Software “MS” which incorporates Fujifilm Image Intelligence® to optimize image quality. Epson/Fujifilm Stylus Pro 7880 makes poster prints and other large format products and can be added to any Fujifilm Frontier system.

Presenting a footprint of less than seven square feet, the Epson/Fujifilm Stylus Pro 7880 can print images or signs in sizes ranging from 11”x14” to 20” x 30.” In addition, this on-demand solution will produce mounted poster prints, up to 20”x24”, in a matter of minutes. Fujifilm RC Semi-Gloss Boards fuse photo quality inkjet paper to high quality mounted boards. The combination is fed directly into the printer, making it easy to go from printer to presentation.

The Epson/Fujifilm Stylus Pro 7880 incorporates a newly enhanced 8-color ink technology. By combining Epson UltraChrome K3TM inks, featuring Vivid Magenta pigments, with Fujifilm Inkjet Media Photo Paper Satin 270, or Fujifilm Inkjet Media Photo Paper Glossy 240, operators can give their customers generations of print enjoyment.
