November 15, 2005, Outperforming its record-setting premiere on Adult Swim last week, the second episode of The Boondocks (Sunday, Nov. 13, 11 p.m. ET/PT), entitled “The Trial of R. Kelly,” scored across-the-board double-digit delivery and ratings growth among its target young adult demos, making it the most-watched program of the week on Adult Swim among adults 18-24 and men 18-24, according to Nielsen Media Research. The provocative new show from comic artist and series creator Aaron McGruder ranked #12 on the list of ad-supported basic cable’s top 50 shows of the week among adults 18-34 and helped drive the late-night service to a 33-week winning streak for total day delivery of adults 18-24 and men 18-24. Adult Swim also ranked #1 in total day delivery of men 18-34 for 30 of the last 33 weeks, and #1 in total day delivery of adults 18-34 for 29 of the last 33 weeks.
