Kodak highlights proofing, workflow and printing products and services, expands sales agreements with key partners Cascades Resources and Heidelberg-Canada

Rochester, NY, November 10 -- Canadian print providers seeking ways to streamline their operations and grow revenues can find answers from Kodak, booth #3630 at Graphics Canada, Canada’s largest graphic arts and printing show, November 10-12 at the International Centre, Toronto.

Graphics Canada will be the first time Kodak exhibits its full graphic communications portfolio in Canada, following the completion of the acquisition of Creo, Inc. in June.

“Kodak has created a portfolio that spans the needs of print providers who seek to increase revenues and streamline their operations,” said Kevin Joyce, Managing Director, US & Canada Region, Kodak’s Graphic Communications Group. “We are supporting our customers in Canada through a range of innovative solutions and cutting-edge business development services that can help our customers grow their businesses, increase their profits and deliver for their customers.”

Kodak is strengthening its relationships in Canada with sales partners Cascades Resources and Heidelberg-Canada, with a focus on expanding sales in key market segments. Heidelberg-Canada will work with Kodak on sales initiatives in the Canadian newspaper market.

Kodak and Cascades are expanding their collaboration in the commercial, digital printing and packaging segments, and Kodak will exhibit its All-in-One Processless Plate Package in Cascade’s booth, #1230 to show how customers can implement a truly no-process CTP solution. The solution features the new GATF InterTech Award-winning KODAK THERMAL DIRECT Non Process Printing Plates, the industry’s only non process plate featuring a traditional grained and anodized aluminum substrate, creating a true “drop in” plate product with the familiar look and feel of a pre-sensitized aluminum plate. Based on fourth generation thermal technology, the new plate doesn’t require the use of a processor or modifications to imaging devices or the press, and is compatible with all popular thermal CTP imagers and a wide range of inks and fountain solutions. In addition to the KODAK THERMAL DIRECT non process plates, the package also includes the KODAK MAGNUS 400 CTP imaging device, and the KODAK PRINERGY Evo PDF processor as well as a proofer, service and support, and on-site startup assistance, making this an ideal way for small and medium sized commercial vendors to benefit from CTP.

“Kodak is pleased to continue its successful collaboration with our Canadian sales partners Heidelberg and Cascades Resources, and we look forward to expanding that success into new market segments,” Joyce said.
