FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

NEW YORK, October 17, 2007 -- In a recent marketing campaign, CEO Brett Michael announced his groundbreaking effort to survey the opinions of Topic Planet site visitors to see what they think of the website’s overall design and functionality, and to learn about their unique preferences for future updates.

Prior to Michael’s “article community” outreach initiative, the design of the Topic Planet article site was green and yellow. The logo displayed a planet as the second letter in the word Topic. He learned from his visitors that the site was too serious looking and was thought to be about the earth. Collectively, the suggestions pointed to a more colorful and brighter design that welcomed visitors in a fun way.

This feedback astonished Michael. His original approach to the Topic Planet website design attempted to achieve that very concept by using clipart images of articles. He realized he was only scratching the surface of what the site needed to convey. Taking the many suggestions into consideration, Michael re-branded the site to achieve a completely new feel.

Replacing the earth logo is now a friendly little Martian whose only job is to distribute articles on every topic on the planet. To ensure a cheerful feeling, the site’s color scheme of green and soft yellow has been replaced by a vibrant purple and soft yellow. The backdrop of the site remains in tact to include a soft yellow with clipart images of articles to compliment the site’s overall theme.

In an ongoing effort to keep apprised of the article industry’s trends and his visitor’s preferences (authors and publishers), Michael has included a statement on the Topic Planet website informing and updating his visitors of this proactive initiative. He will be taking the direction of his audience to create a site that will accommodate all of their needs for rich content while creating an online resource for them that will encourage frequent visits.

If you have any suggestions for the future direction of the Topic Planet website, please stop by www.topicplanet.com, take a look around, and email Brett Michael your most-welcomed opinion.
