Agilent Technologies Inc. (NYSE: A) today announced that it will show its line-up of high-performance synthetic, modular and portable test instruments at AUTOTESTCON. Featured products include the world’s first LXI trigger box, Agilent’s Acqiris product line of high-speed data converters and digitizers and the Agilent Virtual Rack platform, which is designed to create flexible system frameworks with significantly less effort in integration.

“We began shipping Agilent’s synthetic instruments in volume just last year; we’ve launched a new line of portable equipment; and we’re demonstrating our commitment to LXI with Class B triggering with our high-performance MXA signal analyzers and MXG signal sources,” said Tom Burrell, vice president and general manager of Agilent’s Signal Networks Division. “We are committed to delivering test and measurement solutions that meet the intense engineering demands in aerospace and defense.”

The line-up of 14 demonstrations at AUTOTESTCON includes:

The Agilent Virtual Rack platform: Provides an interactive way for aerospace/defense companies to create flexible system frameworks with radically less effort in the integration, automation, maintenance and evolution of test systems.
The world’s first LXI trigger box, the Agilent E5818A: Enables precise synchronization over LAN for LXI Class C and GPIB instruments, elevating their performance to LXI Class B standards.
The Agilent Acqiris DP1400 high-speed PCI digitizers (U1071A): Features a compact design and highly integrated technology for extremely low-power consumption as well as a unique simultaneous multi-buffer acquisition and readout (SAR) mode.
The Agilent Acqiris TC890 Time-to-Digital Converter (U1051A): Ideal for time measurement applications, including laser detection and ranging (LIDAR) for 3-D mapping and navigation, fluorescence lifetime spectrometry, and ion counting in time-of-flight mass spectrometry (TOFMS).
The Agilent EXA spectrum analyzer: The industry’s fastest economy-class signal analyzer provides flexible, scalable signal analysis to budget-conscious engineers.
A new portable line of digital multimeters, signal analyzers, cable/antenna testers and radio testers.
Agilent will present the following technical papers at AUTOTESTCON:

“Designing for Mission Capability Support: A Case Study in Embedded, Automated, Remote Diagnostics,” Sept. 18, 3:15 p.m. - 5 p.m.
“ATML Capabilities Explained,” Sept. 19, 8 a.m. - 9:45 a.m.
