Robin Beamer Dalton is a lifelong resident of Princeton, West Virginia, and a retired educator with 33 years of experience teaching from pre-K through graduate school. A graduate of Concord University and Marshall University, she has held various roles in education, including reading specialist, library media specialist, technology integration specialist, and adaptive physical education teacher.

Throughout her career, Dalton received numerous awards and grants, including an Honorable Mention as a USA Today Teacher of the Year and a $349,000 federal education grant to support technology and library resources in Mercer County schools.
