PHOENIX -- Three Avnet, Inc. (NYSE:AVT) executives will share their insights on the issues of the day at next week’s Electronics Distribution Show and Conference (EDS). Avnet Electronics Marketing executives Greg Frazier and Alex Iuorio, and Avnet Logistics’ Jim Commiskey will participate in three industry seminar series panels at EDS in Las Vegas on May 16, 2007.

Frazier, the executive vice president of supply chains services worldwide, will participate in ’New Frontiers: Building an Infrastructure in Developing Countries.’ As more and more business migrates overseas, companies face many unique challenges setting up operations in such locations, particularly in developing countries. Participants will discuss the challenges businesses face and highlight the best practices companies like Avnet are incorporating while building infrastructures in developing countries.

Commiskey, senior vice president of Avnet Logistics, will join in the panel ’Distribution Logistics,’ sharing his perspective on the role of logistics in the global electronics industry.

Vice President of Supplier Business Development Alex Iuorio will participate in ’Opportunities Beyond Distribution: What to Do with Global Information.’ Panelists will share insight on new opportunities for business growth and development that are being made possible through the process of global information exchange.

’In addition to building upon already established relationships, EDS is a wonderful opportunity for Avnet to come together with supplier partners to discuss issues and the important topics that we all face in the electronics industry. There’s always something new to learn and the market is constantly changing. I look forward to exchanging ideas with my peers,’ said Frazier.

EDS is the annual meeting place and market place for manufacturers of electronic components, instruments and accessories; electronics distributors and manufacturer representatives.
