Judge James P. Gray’s “All Rise!” to Be Featured at Frankfurt Book Fair 2026

Author and retired judge James P. Gray’s “All Rise!: The Libertarian Way with Judge Jim Gray” is set to be featured at the Frankfurt Book Fair 2026, taking place October 7 to 11 at Messe Frankfurt in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. The book will be presented at The Maple Staple’s exhibition at Hall 5.1, Stand D86, where copies will also be distributed to visitors.

“All Rise!” offers a personal and political look at Judge Gray’s journey toward Libertarianism while examining the values and principles that distinguish the movement from other political parties. The book traces the history of liberty in the United States back to the arrival of the Pilgrims at Plymouth Rock and connects that history with experiences from Gray’s own upbringing and life.

A central part of the book recounts how Gray, a former Congressional candidate and member of the Finance Committee of the Republican Party of Orange County, California, turned toward Libertarianism in what the book describes as a 13-second decision. It follows his subsequent involvement with the Libertarian Party, including campaigns for the U.S. Senate in 2004, Vice President in 2012, and President in 2020.

Judge Gray brings a long legal and civic career to the work. A retired judge of the Superior Court of Orange County, he currently work as a mediator in Southern California. During his judicial career, he also contributed to community programs including the Peer Court System and initiatives addressing drunk driving among young people.

The Frankfurt Book Fair presentation marks The Maple Staple’s third appearance at the international book fair. Alongside hundreds of complimentary book copies from participating titles, the exhibition will include opportunities for participating authors to sign and personally distribute their books.
