Partnership Takes Flight: Inter Miami CF and American Airlines Celebrate Their Alliance with Two Events Today

What began at Miami International Airport, took flight and came home to Nu Stadium, as Inter Miami CF and American Airlines celebrated their new partnership with a day of experiences.

The celebration kicked off at American Airlines’ terminal at Miami International Airport, where the Inter Miami CF spirit took over the area near Gate D27, directly in front of the Club’s official team store. Travelers were welcomed with co-branded Inter Miami CF and American Airlines scarves. Fans also had the opportunity to step into Inter Miami CF Captain Lionel Messi’s world with a special photo opportunity inspired by his locker room at Nu Stadium, bringing a piece of the Inter Miami experience to the airport.

The partnership then took to the skies. On a full American Airlines flight from Miami to Dallas, passengers received a surprise as they boraded the aircraft and saw that there was an Inter Miami CF jersey waiting for them on their seat. Moments later, American Airlines Senior Vice President of MIA Operations, Juan Carlos “JC” Liscano and Inter Miami CF and Nu Stadium Chief Revenue Officer Íñigo Aznar stepped aboard to welcome passengers to the new partnership and share a special message before takeoff.

The day concluded at Nu Stadium, where the newly named American Lounge, formerly the West Club, hosted an evening celebration bringing together Inter Miami CF and American Airlines executives and special guests.
