Dr. John Ayoola Akinyemi’s Inspirational Memoirs Scheduled for Exhibit at the 2026 Manila International Book Fair

Dr. John Ayoola Akinyemi has spent years reading and writing, and he has become one of the most well-established authors in America. In his years of writing, he has written six memoirs featuring a deeply personal exploration of cultural heritage and social reflection from the people who shape our lives. These books are now set to exhibit at the Manila International Book Fair 2026, where he hopes visiting readers and distributors can learn much about his triumphant pursuit of the American Dream.

The Manila International Book Fair (MIBF) is the Philippines’ longest-running and largest book fair, attracting more than 160,000 visitors, from publishers to authors to educators, and readers of all ages. The fair will be held from September 9 to 13, 2026, at the SMX Convention Center Manila.

Dr. John Ayoola Akinyemi hails from Nigeria, West Africa—a country that, at the time of his departure six decades ago to the USA, offered limited opportunities for better education and a brighter future. Like millions of immigrants before him, and many more to come, he found a haven in the United States. He served as a civilian in the U.S. Military for over 25 years before retiring in 2006.
