IKEA U.S. is celebrating Pride Month with “Celebrate Your Space,” a campaign that invites people to embrace their individuality, express themselves authentically, and find pride in the spaces they create. Rooted in IKEA’s Better Lives positioning, “Celebrate Your Space” is a call to act boldly, live proudly, and welcome others in, while honoring the LGBTQ+ community’s history, resilience, and contributions and reinforcing IKEA U.S.’s commitment to belonging.

At IKEA, belonging means creating spaces where people feel respected, supported, and able to show up authentically. Through nonprofit and influencer partnerships, as well as internal platforms that elevate co-worker voices and leadership, IKEA U.S. is strengthening visibility and representation inside and outside the organization.

As part of its Pride Month efforts, IKEA U.S. will continue its national campaigns with The Trevor Project and Rainbow Railroad. Throughout June, IKEA U.S. will donate 100% of the advertised retail price from each sale of the STORSTOMMA rainbow shopping bag to The Trevor Project, up to a maximum total donation of $50,000. Proceeds will support The Trevor Project’s crisis intervention and suicide prevention services for LGBTQIA+ youth.

Additionally, in partnership with IKEA Food, IKEA U.S. will donate $1 from each sale of a slice of IKEA Rainbow Cake purchased through July 31 to Rainbow Railroad, up to a maximum total donation of $100,000. The donation will support Rainbow Railroad’s work helping LGBTQIA+ individuals seek safety from persecution.

Across the country, IKEA U.S. stores will bring Pride to life through local activations, creating moments that celebrate co-workers, customers, and communities. Through its “Celebrate Your Space” campaign, IKEA U.S. invites everyone to take pride in who they are and while helping create spaces where all people feel seen, welcomed, and at home.
