He attended seven universities, including Syracuse University and the Alliance Française in Paris, with a focus on foreign languages. His interests include swimming, fencing, and martial arts. He served as an adjunct professor of Spanish and Critical Thinking for 12 years. Pannone has been happily married for over 35 years and is the father of four adult children living across the United States.
