Matt Derella Expands Leadership Across LinkedIn Ads and Microsoft Advertising
LinkedIn Ads is building strong momentum with rapid growth across video and event ads for B2B brands, while Microsoft Advertising continues to deliver strength and performance at scale. Starting today, Matt Derella, who joined LinkedIn in December 2024 to lead global sales for the advertising business, is taking on an expanded role, leading LinkedIn Ads and go-to-market for Microsoft Advertising.
Both businesses will continue to operate as distinct organizations focused on helping customers grow by connecting them with the more than one billion LinkedIn members and Microsoft users of Copilot, Bing, Xbox, Outlook, Edge, Windows, and MSN.
LinkedIn Ads is growing approximately 14% year-over-year, driven by strong adoption of video and events ads – up more than 20% and 50% year-over-year, respectively. And Microsoft Advertising is delivering sustained, strong performance with search and news advertising up 12% (9% constant currency).
