Elisabeth “Beth” Watter, the inspirational author of Champions, We Are, will attend a book festival at Printers Row in Chicago for a book signing session on September 12, 2026 from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM CST DAY1 Organized by the self-publishing and book marketing company ReadersMagnet, the book signing session celebrates her uplifting story of resilience, friendship, and perseverance.

Watter grew up in the Missouri Ozarks and moved to Illinois at 16 to live with her father. Watter’s journey supporting him through recovery, education, and scouting deeply shaped her mission as a writer. After finishing two years with a writing academy in New England, she began writing inspirational books aimed at families facing adversity.

With more than 25 years of experience as a Boy Scout leader and working with special needs Scouts, Watter brings authenticity and compassion to her storytelling. Her work continues to encourage readers to embrace hope, resilience, and determination in the face of life’s challenges.
