“This collection represents many firsts for us. Having a presence at Milan Design Week has long been a dream, and with Kelly, we knew the moment was right,” says Evelina Kravaev-Söderberg, H&M HOME Head of Design & Creative. “H&M HOME has a global presence, but with this milestone we want to make an impact on customers and the design industry alike in a new way. When we discovered the venue — the Palazzo Acerbi — everything fell into place.”

In April 2026, H&M HOME steps onto the global design stage at Milan Design Week, showcasing a conceptual installation featuring key pieces from the Kelly Wearstler H&M HOME upcoming collection. The display will include an exclusive preview of objects from the collaboration launching in September, along with bespoke pieces in custom colours and sizes. Materials used for the collection include wood, metal, ceramics, marble and textiles. This milestone marks a bold evolution for the brand, introducing furniture within a designer collaboration for the first time, complemented by smaller design objects. The collection ushers in a new design era resonating with interior fans all over the world, staying true to the H&M HOME ethos of democratising design for the many.

The installation will be unveiled at Palazzo Acerbi, a near-mythic 17th-century Baroque palace that has long been closed to the public. Behind its austere façade lies architectural grandeur: Soaring columns and opulent frescoes that create a striking juxtaposition with the collection’s bold contemporary aesthetic. Visitors will experience not just an exhibition, but a sensorial dialogue between past and present, shadow and light, restraint and indulgence.

“This is my Milan Design Week debut, and H&M HOME is the perfect partner. Their global presence and genius for storytelling align perfectly with my vision. Bringing this collection to life in Milan and showing people how the pieces come alive in a real space — that’s what excites me,” says Kelly Wearstler.

Built on the collection’s concepts of daily rituals and modular synergy, the installation — produced by the acclaimed Studio Boum — unfolds as an immersive, choreographed journey through the senses. Each room reveals a distinct dimension of this multifaceted experience, elevating every sense into a sacred act that guides visitors toward presence and connection.

At the heart of this modular synergy lies the ritual of becoming — where furniture and space coalesce as instruments of self-evolution. Each piece serves not only as an adaptive design element but as a companion to the daily rituals that shape identity.

The installation marks the first time H&M HOME participates during Milan Design Week, showcasing objects customers will be able to purchase at a later date.
