Patricia Caple, a retired Lt Colonel of the United States Air Force and passionate advocate for social justice, announces the release of her powerful new book, “Breaking the Chains: The African Americans’ Struggles in America.” This work delves into the systemic challenges faced by Black citizens in America and calls for a collective effort to confront racism and inequality.

Patricia Caple brings a wealth of experience and insight to her writing. A graduate of North Carolina A&T State University and Western New England University, she served 23 years in the United States Air Force, retiring as a Lt Colonel. Following her military career, she dedicated a decade to the VA Maryland Health Care System, where she worked as a Health Promotion and Disease Prevention Program Manager. Since her retirement in 2022, Caple has remained active in her community, volunteering with civic and charitable organizations and serving as a board member of the Homeowners Association of French Town Crossing in Perryville, MD.
