M·A·C Cosmetics and Depop Bring Together Beauty and Fashion in New Creator-Led Collaboration

M·A·C Cosmetics, the #1 prestige makeup brand globally and community-powered circular fashion marketplace, Depop, have joined forces for a new partnership celebrating self expression, the joy of thrifting, and M·A·C’s latest lipstick icons: Powder Kiss and MACximal Matte.

Rooted in a shared belief in self-expression and individuality, the partnership brings together two brands that have long championed creativity, diversity, and community and have each earned their distinctive place in culture.

At the heart of the collaboration, Jordyn Woods and Leah Kateb will host an exclusive M·A·C X Depop Shop, selling covetable pieces from their personal wardrobes, each representing a distinct MAC lipstick icon through their chosen pieces.

Jordyn’s edit reflects the bold, high-impact energy of MACximal Matte, featuring statement colors and prints, elevated textures and confident styling that mirror the lipstick’s intense colour. Shoppers can expect pieces from contemporary brands like Meshki, Area and CouCou, alongside accessories from Diesel and Steve Madden. In contrast, Leah’s edit channels the soft, effortless feel of Powder Kiss, with romantic, pared-back pieces and easy layers that echo the lipstick’s blurred, diffused finish. Brands available in Leah’s edit include luxury labels like Roberto Cavalli, Acne and Alexander McQueen and footwear from Femme and Paris Texas. Every purchase from Jordyn’s MACximal Matte Edit will include a MACximal lipstick, while shoppers who buy from Leah’s Powder Kiss Edit will receive a Powder Kiss lipstick. Together, their curated drops highlight how beauty and fashion intersect to express personal style.

The partnership also invites the wider Depop and M·A·C communities to get involved. Fans of the brands will be encouraged to create looks using one of 12 exclusive backgrounds inspired by different Powder Kiss and MACximal Matte lipstick shades on Depop’s new in-app collaging tool, Outfits. Bringing the collaboration into the real world, M·A·C and Depop will host an activation in New York City. On Friday February 6, an iconic New York hot dog stand takeover will pop up in Union Square, where visitors can grab a bite to eat, pick up M·A·C x Depop merch, lipsticks, and exclusive giveaways. Jordyn and Leah will also be stopping by to join in on the fun!
