LALIGA GENUINE Moeve kicks off its new season in Tarragona with a record 50 teams

• Moeve, formerly Cepsa, incorporates its new brand into the competition in a year with record participation: 50 teams from 15 regions
• This season will feature four phases to be played in six different locations, with the league concluding at La Ciudad del Fútbol de Las Rozas (Madrid) at the end of June 2026

Moeve is incorporated into the name and accompanies the start of its first full season in LALIGA GENUINE Moeve, the eighth edition in the history of this competition developed by LALIGA, through its Foundation, and made up of teams with players with intellectual disabilities. The matches, which will take place between 2025 and 2026, hosts a record 50 teams that will compete in four phases.

The sports facilities of the Mediterranean Sports Hub (Tarragona) will have 8 playing fields for more than a thousand football players and technicians in the first phase of LALIGA GENUINE Moeve. The host club, the Nàstic in Tarragona, will host its rivals coming from more than 30 provinces across 15 Autonomous Communities, to compete in a total of 75 games between Saturday, November 22 and Sunday, November 23. Moeve will focus on this phase by promoting the event in the city and providing around twenty volunteers from the company, who will accompany the participating teams.

The competition will hold its inaugural event today with a parade of the 50 teams at the Nou Estadi, the stadium of Nàstic de Tarragona. Furthermore, as is traditionally done, during the celebration of this first phase all players will dance a haka before each match, in which they will earn their first points of the season in the Sports and Fair Play classification, following the principles of LALIGA GENUINE Moeve, which emphasize sharing before competing.

With the start of the new season of LALIGA GENUINE Moeve, the energy company is strengthening its partnership with LALIGA and Liga F as the first official sponsor of all its professional competitions, which also include LALIGA EA SPORTS, Liga F Moeve, LALIGA HYPERMOTION, and the FC FUTURES tournaments. Furthermore, in line with its commitment to real transformation, it is developing the Technical Office for Environmental Sustainability to help clubs to reduce their carbon footprint.
