Body of Work
Her storytelling shines with an authenticity that makes the fantastical feel entirely possible. She writes about the Fae not as fable, but as ancient stewards of balance, asking humanity to remember its role in protecting the Earth. There’s a tenderness in how she connects their realm to ours, reminding us that saving the planet begins with remembering we are part of it. That emotional and spiritual sincerity is what turns this book from fantasy into a kind of calling.
“A Fairy Story, Saving The Green” awakens the wonder and rekindles your connection to the unseen guardians of our earth home. It inspires a kind of reverence for our true connection to our roots.
“A Fairy Story, Saving The Green” appeals not only to fantasy readers but also to spiritual seekers, environmental advocates, and those who believe in the harmony between the physical and mystical realms.
Plot
Merrilee’s parents were star crossed lovers. Her parents hid the story of their meeting and the heritage of her family. Her father came from an Irish Fae blood family that were champions of the Faeries. He was set to marry a young woman chosen from another Fae human family.
At a seasonal festival in Ireland he met a tourist, a young woman from a Hassidic Jewish family, seeking her spiritual self and they immediately fell deeply in love. Their families rejected this so they eloped to America where they hid from everyone and had a child, Merrilee, whom they told nothing of their past.
In public her father was a movie stunt man who also worked in construction. In private he continued to be a Champion for the Fae but hid his family from the wrath of the Queen of the Fae who was angered at his marriage.
After her parents pass away Merrilee marries but her husband is killed in a traffic accident. She is left alone and so throws herself into travelling worldwide teaching spiritual skills and finally comes home to take a vacation from her constant travels.
“A Fairy Story” is really the story of Merrilee who is impelled to search for her true heritage after she learns she comes from a family with Fae blood that has always been champions for the Fae. To learn the true story of her family history Merrilee agrees to help a Fae King save his kingdom and the planet earth. Together they travel the globe seeking answers and meeting Gods & Goddesses of old, Mermaids, Elementals as they seek to fight the evil that caused a tsunami and to fix the energy that disrupts the harmony of our earth. It is the story of her vision quest, the walkabout we all face as we search for our true authentic selves and the meaning of our lives.
“A Fairy Story, Saving The Green” introduces you to the world of the Fae, the true race that exists now on our planet earth but invisibles themselves to humans. The author demonstrates the power of inner sight as she describes Merrilee’s energy tools and responses to both the kingdom of the Fae and the evil business men who would harm the earth for their own power and greed.
