“Hazardous Pay, Shirt Talk and Twenty-Four Other Stories” Showcased at Frankfurt Book Fair 2025

“Hazardous Pay, Shirt Talk and Twenty-Four Other Stories” by Ivan Prashker will be featured at the Frankfurt Book Fair 2025, the world’s foremost marketplace for books and culture, taking place 15–19 October at Messe Frankfurt. The collection will be displayed under The Maple Staple and Inks & Bindings stand in Hall 5.1, Stand D86, as part of their expanded feature this year.

Prashker’s anthology offers readers a panorama of human experience, with short stories arranged in five thematic segments. From the innocence and upheavals of childhood, to haunting Holocaust narratives, to the psychological scars of war and the humor of everyday office politics, the collection spans eras and emotions with unflinching honesty. Each tale illuminates the challenges, contradictions, and resilience of ordinary lives caught in extraordinary circumstances.
