Aaron Anthony Vessup’s “Best Animal Stories – Volume I” Brings Whimsy and Wonder to Frankfurt Book Fair 2025

“Best Animal Stories – Volume I” by Aaron Anthony Vessup will be featured at the Frankfurt Book Fair 2025, taking place 15–19 October at Messe Frankfurt. The book will be exhibited at Hall 5.1, Stand D86, within the joint showcase of The Maple Staple and Inks & Bindings, who are returning to the fair with more than 150 titles.

Set on the enchanting Paradise Farm, the book introduces Chickee-Lickee-Lee, a plucky little chicken with only two toes but an endless capacity for curiosity and courage. Teased for being different, she sets out on whimsical adventures: befriending a wise potato, navigating magical forests, and discovering that leadership and strength often bloom from unexpected places. With wit, warmth, and gentle lessons woven into every page, the collection celebrates resilience, creativity, and the quiet power of believing in oneself.

Known for his wide-ranging body of work across memoir, photography, poetry, and textbooks, Vessup here turns his imagination toward young readers, crafting a story that both delights and inspires. The Maple Staple, now in its second year at Frankfurt and co-exhibiting for the first time with Inks & Bindings, will showcase Vessup’s collection alongside diverse works from authors worldwide.
