Multicultural Bible Counselor Dr. Glennie Metz Closes Her Trilogy on Empowering Christian Development with “Womb of the Master Builder”
Dr. Glennie P. Metz is a New York-based counselor as well as a nationally renowned Bible teacher who has written a series of books that present a new analogy for Christians growing in spirituality. However, her latest one strives to sum it all up in a way that can bring together Christians from across cultural divides. Titled “Womb of the Master Builder,” it aims to both share her life and how the concept of the womb represents the stages of walking with God
“Much like babies in the womb, believers in the church are meant to grow in stages.”
In various parts of the country, Dr. Glennie P. Metz has been a much sought-after Bible teacher and counselor for her work that aligns knowledge of Scripture with the principles of mind-body-soul health. Furthermore, she is well known for her advocacy of multicultural faith communities and has been using her platform to passionately advocate against social inequality while raising awareness of systemic biases.
It is for this reason that she has also published three books for her platform, which not only share her life story but also how that story demonstrates a new way Christians can understand their spiritual growth. And for her latest book, she is now set on organizing a promotional campaign to ensure that this book gets into the hands of more readers around the world.
Its title is “Womb of the Master Builder: Grooming for Glory,” and it shares the story about her career start as a nurse and how it eventually relates to the concept of the church being God’s womb. The analogy of the womb is a recurring theme in her previous books. But in this one, she gradually coaches readers to see the baby in the womb in the same way they see their spiritual lives in the church.
For her, the church is the womb into which God has imparted part of His divine nature, much like DNA. This is his gift to those who choose to repent, be baptized, and be filled with the Holy Ghost. Yet even from there, the womb that is the church must still carry the believers within as they develop in the Christian walk.
