Donna Voss Brings Enchanting Children’s Tale “Treasure Island: It’s Not a Secret Anymore” to Global Stage

The title will be featured at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books, the Busan Children’s International Book Fair, and through the Global Book Network (GBN) at the Quipper Prints booth.

About the Book

In “Treasure Island: It’s Not a Secret Anymore,” young readers are invited into a magical world filled with fairies and queens, where a mystery awaits: Who spilled the honey? Red and Blue Fairy say it was the Dark Fairy, but the Ice Queen disagrees. Who is telling the truth? Through its playful characters and enchanting narrative, the book encourages children to think critically, consider multiple perspectives, and learn that kindness and empathy are the greatest treasures of all.

About the Author

Donna Voss has long been an advocate for children’s education and community building. As a dedicated volunteer in her local public schools since 1997, Donna founded a Garden Club that blossomed into a district-wide “Farm to Table” program. With her daughter later becoming a Garden Club teacher and grant-winner for the first farmhouse, the initiative has grown into a vibrant educational resource for K–6 students. Through hands-on farming experiences, children learn not only how to grow sustainable food but also the importance of inclusivity, empathy, and kindness.

Her work in education has laid the foundation for her storytelling—fostering imagination, respect for others, and a belief that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference.
