Author’s Biography:
Thomas Fitzhugh Sheets, 80, is a semi-retired businessman who, despite never attending college, built a successful career. He now resides at Providence Farm in Bedford County, Virginia, where he operates a beef cattle business, raising calves for the feeder market. A candid conversation with a friend—a retired pastor and Marine chaplain disillusioned with organized religion—sparked Tom’s journey into writing. Understanding Tom’s deep concern for the spiritual state of today’s church, his friend challenged him to put his thoughts into a book. Tom has long been troubled by what he sees as the church’s drift toward instant gratification, leaving many spiritually unfulfilled. With a heart for reaching those within the church who feel lost, he set out to confront these issues. This calling resulted in his works of a Trilogy: The Road to Restoration, The Death of the Promise, and The Resurrection of the Promised.
