Deidra Bynum’s Gripping Retelling of Samson’s Tragic Love Story Set for Exhibit at Upcoming Book Festival at Printers Row

Given her former law enforcement background, some might find it hard to imagine Deidra Bynum becoming a “Fisher of Men” (Matthew 4:19) minister as well as an author of faith-based love stories. However, that is precisely what she has been up to in recent years. Today, Bynum is the CEO and founder of Titus 2:3 TCT Ministries, while her name is also attached to a series of colorful retellings of the Bible’s famous (and infamous) characters.

This year, she will also exhibit her books at various events nationwide. First up, she will be sharing her book titled: “Samson’s Delilah Dilemma: ‘In Her Shoes’ (Confessions),” which presents a bold, Spirit-led reinterpretation of one of the most misunderstood love stories in Scripture. Rather than a mere cautionary tale, Deidra’s book examines Samson’s Delilah Dilemma through the lens of divine purpose, temptation, and redemption.

This is the fifth entry in what she calls her “anointed library” about the lesser-known side of various biblical figures. In this case, Bynum explores Samson not as a fallen hero but as a flawed Nazirite Warrior, Judge, and Deliverer, who ultimately fulfills God’s purpose for his life.

Bynum encourages her readers to gain a better understanding of Samson’s spiritual dilemma as he navigates his passion for Delilah and his ultimate allegiance to God’s orchestration, executing His divine will. Author Bynum urges readers to dive deep into the perspectives of all these characters and their plights.

Deidra Bynum is a member of the “Body of Christ” and the founder and CEO of the Titus 2:3 TCT Ministries (LLC). Retired from Washington D.C.’s Metropolitan Police Department, she relocated to North Carolina, where she, as led by the Lord, continues to write.
