Ghassan K. Sayegh’s Theological Challenge Against Popular Adelphoi Theory Soon to Exhibit at an Upcoming Book Fest at Printers Row, Chicago
For many, the idea of Jesus having biological siblings is a non-accepted yet pervasive theory. But for Ghassan K. Sayegh, it is a dangerous misconception that only sows confusion. In the hopes of finally putting the matter to rest, he published “Jesus’ Alleged Brothers & Sisters?!?!?!” Sayegh has arranged for the book’s exhibition at various book events to better equip believers in sound SOLA SCRIPTURA doctrine and save them from serious errors.
“The idea of Jesus’ siblings is but a perverse dispute invented by fallen ministers.”
Ghassan K. Sayegh is but a humble Christian on a mission bigger than himself. For decades, and among many other of his writings about biblical misconceptions and misinterpretations, he has devoted much of his time addressing one of the most enduring controversies in Christian theology: the question of whether Jesus had biological siblings.
As a celebrated multicultural essayist and devotee of the original New Testament Greek and Hebrew, Sayegh argues that this doctrine arose not from Scripture itself but from cumulative errors in more than 450 English translations.
He explains it all in his book, the promptly titled “Jesus’ Alleged Brothers & Sisters?!?!?!: Is it a Biblical Fact or Utter Fiction?” The book is the result of his rigorous research, a lifetime of Bible study, and his own distinct background in Eastern and Western cultures. In it, he demonstrates how successive “translations from translations” have distorted key Greek terms, creating ambiguity where the original text was crystal clear from the many quoted verses for the use of the disputed words in meaning and context.
He compares the process to repeatedly photocopying a photograph until its resolution is lost. The result is a fragmented Christian landscape of over 43,000 denominations.
Sayegh has long made it his calling to put an end to this still pervasive pop theory about Jesus Christ. As part of his work with his book, he has even arranged to have it exhibited at various book events in the hopes that it will catch the eye of distributors who also desire to put sound doctrine front and center.
One of these book events is an upcoming book festival in Printers Row set to take place in Chicago on September 6-7, 2025, at the Printers Row Park. Festivalgoers can find the book displayed at the self-publishing and book marketing company ReadersMagnet’s exhibit.
“Jesus’ Alleged Brothers & Sisters?!?!?!: Is it a Biblical Fact or Utter Fiction?” is available on ReadersMagnet Bookstore, Amazon, and Barnes & Noble. To learn more about Ghassan K. Author Bio
On the outside as much as on the inside, I am a whole person, a one person, a human phenomenon, an individualistic blend and mixture of East and West cultures, in which God’s creative handy-work has manifested in the most artistic and nifty fashion. I am also blessed by being called one of the Living God’s Children in Jesus Christ.
However, “Me, Myself and I” had a lifelong meeting and we unanimously agreed to disagree. Thus, together or separately, we may laugh or cry; we may engage or disengage; we may compete or idle; we may create or destroy.
We may seem acting classically and dependently, yet we portray an epicurean, schizoid andschizophrenic triune that continually sways and oscillates, often adopting dimensions of abulia, amentia and amnesia.
Together, they confirm my oneness and wholesomeness, yet, separately and alternatively, they subject my world to natural extremes of heaven and hell.
I am deeply grateful to my unlettered parents, who had infused in me the great value of: “Love your God and love your neighbor and enemy.” From my humble yet honorable upbringing, I acquired the fear of God to respect my fellow humans, to honor my duty, to live by the sincerity of thoughts and deeds, and finally, to appreciate the unmatched gratification that: “It is more blessed to give than to receive” (Acts 20:35).
Being a Spirit, Soul and Body, my triune “Me, Myself and I” takes turns in pushing the limits of my creativity by exciting my mind, soul and taste. The arid terrain of my unliterary line of breadwinning work and business is devoid of literary scope and span but properly represents the “Me” of the triune, while the literary world of poetry, prose and sketching are forever exclusively the tenets of “Myself.” “Me” and “Myself” are the mirrors through which the “I” shines, and collectively known as: GHASSAN K. SAYEGH
