With every move, Jonni built a successful career in journalism and advertising, earning numerous awards and recognition from the California Legislature. A lover of writing, reading, old movies, Star Trek, and travel, Jonni has explored the U.S., Canada, and the Bahamas by car, RV, and sailboat. She and her husband also appeared in a Discovery Channel documentary and frequently spoke about their Life-Saving Transition.
