Meet the Brands: Fanta

WEBWIRE

At Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, we make, move and sell the world’s most loved drinks and create value for our 4 million customers across 31 markets.
In the latest edition of our ‘Meet the Brand’ series, we’re getting to know our bright, bubbly, refreshing and great tasting drink - Fanta.

Meet Fanta
People love Fanta for the juicy blast of fruity flavours and fruit juice it delivers. Fanta is the second oldest drink in our portfolio, after Coca-Cola Original Taste.

A flavour for everyone

Initially only available in orange, the Fanta family has grown and grown and now boasts over 30 different flavours. Many of these flavours come in Zero Sugar versions so you can enjoy that great Fanta taste with or without sugar. What’s your favourite flavour?
Whether you’re into bold tropical tastes or classics like Fanta Orange, our Fanta range has a great flavour for everyone:

  • Fanta Orange
  • Fanta Orange Zero Sugar
  • Fanta Raspberry Zero Sugar
  • Fanta Exotic
  • Fanta Grape
  • Fanta Lemon
  • Fanta Fruit Twist
  • Fanta Pineapple and Grapefruit
  • Fanta Strawberry and Kiwi
  • Fanta Elderflower
  • Fanta Lime Zero Sugar
  • Fanta Passionfruit Zero Sugar

… to name just a few. Together with The Coca-Cola Company, we want every flavour to be delicious so consumers get a great-tasting Fanta, every time. In 2025, we’re introducing Fanta Tutti Fruiti Zero Sugar in Great Britain, Spain, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Norway, Sweden and Portugal.

Not every flavour is available in every market, all of the time – we like to mix up our portfolio to keep consumers engaged and excited for the brand. And we offer all of these flavours in a range of packs and pack sizes to suit every budget and occasion.
Fanta-tics have been known to try and collect all the Fanta flavours around the world.

How Fanta is made

We make, move and sell all our products locally. 90% of our drinks are bought in the country in which they were manufactured.
That means we’re able to respond the differing consumer tastes and preferences between markets – whether that’s a particular flavour that is proving popular in a specific country, or different pack sizes to fit local trends.
This also means that we’re employing and investing locally in each of our markets – and every bottle or can of Fanta sold supports that approach.

Fanta and friends

Fanta isn’t just great on its own. Over the last few years, the brand has seen some great tie-ins and partnerships. These provide a great platform to take the drink to new consumers, drive sales and ultimately create more value for our customers.

In 2024, Fanta and Warner Bros. Pictures, partnered to create a limited-edition flavour - Fanta Afterlife - to coincide with the release of Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. Limited-edition packs featured the stars of the film, like Michael Keaton and Jenna Ortega.
Nothing shows our commitment to responding to local taste and demand like Mezzo Mix. First produced in Germany in the 1970s, it mixes Fanta Orange and Coca-Cola.

As part of the partnership, Fanta® designed 6 colourful, custom Xbox Series X consoles and wireless controllers, representing the most popular flavours in the brands portfolio like Orange, Lemon, Exotic, Fruit Twist, Grape and Lemon-Elderflower.

In 2025, Fanta® partnered with Xbox to encourage gamers to ‘Play with the colour you want’ in new range.

Beyond drinks, you can even find Fanta in candy form with Mentos Fanta, offering the unique and delicious taste of Fanta Orange in a Mentos candy.

Fanta fans are an innovative bunch. Not only creating content with the huge range of flavours we offer, TikTokers have been exploring Fanta Orange with milk.

Growing with customers

In 2024 Fanta Orange Zero partnered with Nando’s in Great Britain to bring a guest spice to the Nando’s menu - Nando’s x Fanta. Somewhere between Mild and Medium, Nando’s x Fanta was fruity and tangy with a hint of Nando’s legendary PERi-PERi. Find out more about Nando’s x Fanta below.

Fanta has become synonymous with Halloween. That’s given our world class sales teams at CCEP the opportunity to create fun and engaging displays and activations with customers in-store and online.
These displays build excitement from consumers and drive sales, ultimately helping us achieve our goal of creating more value for all our customers.

Sustainable Fanta

As with all our products, we are taking action to reduce the impact of our Fanta packaging. That means moving towards a fully circular model that reduces waste and emissions.
We are doing this by working to recycle, reuse and collect more of our Fanta packaging, to drive circularity and make sure that it doesn’t end up as litter or in the oceans.
We also continue to reduce sugar across our Fanta portfolio, including introducing low and no calorie options across our flavours.
