Terri Auman’s Pious and Personal Collection of Christian Poetry All Set for Exhibit at Chicago’s Printers Row Lit Fest
Terri Auman has been combining her passion for writing and her faith throughout most of her life. Now, at 58, she has fulfilled a lifelong dream of getting a book published titled “Running the Race at God’s Pace,” where she hopes to express the spiritual ethos that she lives by and hopes others will too. She has even arranged to have this book exhibited at the upcoming Printers Row Lit Fest in Chicago, where it will be exhibited alongside other independently published works.
“We are to lean on God, and it is possible to live, breathe and trust that He knows what’s best for us.”
Terri Auman has only had two passions in her life. One is writing, and the other is her faith in God. Hailing from North Carolina, she grew up learning to appreciate a much quieter life where everyone got by with what they needed.
Her faith forms a significant part of that worldview and is a recurring theme in everything she writes. Recently, she finally achieved her lifelong dream of getting a book published, which she hopes will rekindle people’s faith and get them back to trusting in God.
It is a process that she herself admits is not easy, and finishing the book had been quite the challenge. Still, she hopes that her book’s successful publishing will serve as a testament to her faith. Titled “Running the Race at God’s Pace,” it is a collection of prayerful poems that are meant to instill a sense of persevering faith in people who struggle with belief.
“Running the Race at God’s Pace” is set to be displayed by the self-publishing and book marketing company ReadersMagnet at the Printers Row Lit Fest (PRLF) in Chicago. The event is one of the largest outdoor book exhibits in America, inviting authors from all backgrounds to come together and present their work in celebration of all those who want to pursue their call to create literature. The 2025 PRLF will take place on September 6-7, 2025, at Printers Row Park, on and around Dearborn Street, from Polk Street to Ida B. Wells Drive.
Auman is certainly excited to have her work exhibited after all the effort she has put in to have it out there.
Those who are curious about “Running the Race at God’s Pace” by Terri Auman can purchase a copy on Amazon. Better yet, visit the ReadersMagnet exhibit at the Printers Row Lit Fest at booth TBD to check out the book display.
