She founded Community & Faith Outreach Initiative, Inc., a nonprofit supporting grandparents and caregivers raising children. Widowed from Rev. Emmanuel J. Vaughn, Sr., an AME pastor of 25+ years, Mary serves her community with compassion and strength. She is the proud mother of four and lives by Joshua 24:15: “We will serve the Lord.”
