About the Authors
Dr. John P. Higgins is a Harvard-trained cardiologist, award-winning professor, and trusted medical expert frequently featured on CNN and ABC World News. He has taught everyone from pre-schoolers to pre-med students and authored multiple books with McGraw Hill and Elsevier on topics ranging from cardiology and energy drinks to smartphone apps for wellness. A prolific researcher, he has published hundreds of peer-reviewed medical articles. In addition to his medical training, Dr. Higgins holds a Master’s in Philosophy from the University of Cambridge (England) and an M.B.A. with honors from George Washington University.
