Kona Big Wave Brings the Aloha Spirit to the Biggest Music Festivals this Summer with Spotify

The beloved beer brand is partnering with Spotify’s in-house consultancy to host its first Soundwave Sessions, intimate events that brings fans closer to their favorite artists, and onsite activations at select music festivals during the season

Kona Big Wave, the refreshing island-style premium lager, today announced its summer lineup with plans to make a splash at the biggest music festivals of the summer including The Governors Ball, Lollapalooza, Ohana Festival and Ocean’s Calling. Each immersion will bring one-of-a-kind experiences that foster shared connection over music and embrace the aloha lifestyle.

To kick off the festival series, Kona Big Wave is partnering with Spotify’s in-house music consultancy for brands, Spotify AUX, to give fans exclusive access to their favorite artists. Starting in Gulf Shores, Alabama, Kona and Spotify will bring the good vibes with a curated series, Soundwave Sessions, featuring an intimate session by indie folk artist DOPE LEMON, followed by a DJ set from Jungle. This Soundwave Session will take place at a local hotspot, The Hangout, starting at 5pm on May 15, where fans will have the opportunity to unwind, enjoy a refreshing Kona and delicious eats, all while experiencing a front row seat to a lineup of some of the biggest alt/indie artists on the scene.

Soundwave Sessions will culminate at Lollapalooza in Chicago, Illinois with another exclusive music session brought to fans by Kona and Spotify ahead of the festival weekend.
