Harris Interactive Takes Home Six David Ogilvy Research Awards at Advertising Research Foundation (ARF) Annual Event

On Tuesday evening, Harris Interactive®, the fastest growing market research company in the world, received six Advertising Research Foundation (ARF) David Ogilvy Research Awards at the 2007 ARF Ogilvy Awards Gala. Harris Interactive was recognized for its work with DHL, International Dairy Foods Association, AdoptUsKids/The Advertising Council, Chili’s and the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA).

The ARF Ogilvy Awards annually celebrate advertising legend David Ogilvy’s spirited advocacy of using research for making good advertising better. The winning campaigns recognized have achieved significant business results based on the research insights they incorporated.

In addition to the five category awards that Harris Interactive and its clients received, the prestigious Business Achievement Award was also awarded to AdoptUsKids/The Advertising Council. The Business Achievement Award honors an organization’s exceptional success in solving a critical business challenge. Harris Interactive, for this campaign, applied its Consumer Connection advertising research model to ensure that the advertising was effectively communicating the positioning and achieving the appropriate attitudinal and behavioral impact on the target audience.

The Ogilvy awards are given for 12 different industry categories. This year the Harris Interactive Marketing Communications Research and Brand and Strategy Consulting Groups took home awards in the four categories, plus an overall Industry award:

-The Ad Council, The Collaboration for AdoptUsKids, Children’s Bureau - Business Achievement Award: Brand Repositioning
-DHL - Gold in the Business to Business Category
-The Ad Council, The Collaboration for AdoptUsKids, Children’s Bureau - Gold in the Government, Public Service, Non-Profit Category
-International Dairy Foods Association/Milk Processor Education Program - Silver in the Government, Public Service, Non-Profit Category
-Brinker’s (Chili’s) - Gold in the Retail/E-Tail Category
-Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority - Silver in the Sports, Entertainment and Media Category
